Spray washer for heavy industry

New project: Castor Spray-Cast 1705.1.120s

Castor has successfully completed the commissioning of a specialized spray washing machine. This unit is designed for a manufacturer of agricultural and construction machinery components. Specifically, it provides precision cleaning of tractor shafts after machining and thermo-chemical treatment.

In this Spray-Cast 1705.1.120s project, we focused on technical solutions that best address complex part geometries. Consequently, every feature was selected to meet the stringent cleanliness requirements of the assembly line.

Key technical solutions:

  • Transverse header system: In this configuration, we implemented spray headers positioned transversely to the loading direction. This allows for more precise impingement of the cleaning medium onto complex geometries (shafts), increasing the efficiency of contaminant removal from hard-to-reach areas.
  • Air-lock system: The unit functions as a seal between the machining area and the clean assembly room. Alternating door operation prevents cross-contamination of the clean zone. By eliminating the risk of finished machine failure caused by technological impurities, it is crucial for maintaining Clean Room standards.
  • Dual filtration: The process is based on two stages of filtration: bag and candle filters. In addition, this combination guarantees a high class of bath cleanliness by removing both coarse impurities and micro-particles. Therefore, it effectively extends the service life of the process chemicals.
As an industrial washing systems manufacturer, Castor provides solutions tailored to specific technological processes. At the same time, we ensure repeatability and efficiency in heavy industry cleaning applications.
