Detailed information on the processing of customer and contractor data Castor Unia Gospodarcza Sp. z o.o.

1. Administrator of Personal data

2. Purposes of processing, legal basis for processing and processing time

We will process your personal data for the following purposes, on the indicated basis and for the following period:

  • conclusion and performance of the contract between us, including ensuring proper quality (e.g. through activities under the guarantee) – for the duration of the contract and settlements after its termination (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR);
  • performance of our legal obligations, in particular those covering issuing and storing invoices and accounting documents
  • for the duration of the obligations (Article 6, paragraph 1, c of the GDPR) or for the period during which the regulations require us to store data, e.g. tax data or for the period during which we may suffer legal consequences of failure to perform the obligation, e.g. receive a financial penalty from the authorities, which is related to our legitimate interest (Article 6, paragraph 1, f of the GDPR);
  • for the purpose of pursuing claims related to the concluded contract – which includes, among others, the sale of our receivables from the contract to another entity – for the period after which the claims arising from the contract become time-barred, which is related to our legitimate interest (Article 6, paragraph 1, f of the GDPR);
  • direct marketing – for the duration of the contract, which is related to our legitimate interest (Article 6, paragraph 1, f of the GDPR);
  • verification of creditworthiness – for the period necessary to make such an assessment when concluding the contract and to consider related complaints, which is related to the performance of the contract (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR);
  • contacting you as part of sending an inquiry using the available forms or by e-mail, letter or telephone – for the period necessary to provide an appropriate response, which is related to your consent, which is given voluntarily, by showing your will to allow us to process personal data and takes the form of a clear confirmatory action in the form of sending or directly providing us with data, in particular contact details.

3. Data recipients

We will transfer your personal data to:

  • other entities processing data on behalf of the Administrator, such as: external advisors, IT service providers, carriers, entities processing data for the purpose of debt collection, entities archiving or deleting data, where such entities process data on the basis of an agreement with the Administrator and only in accordance with the Administrator’s instructions;
  • entities operating on the basis of legal regulations. In each case of sharing or entrusting data to such entities, the Administrator ensures that it is done in accordance with the law;
  • other administrators such as: entities conducting postal and courier activities, entities conducting payment activities, business information offices.

4. Transfer of data to third countries or international organisations

We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.


5. Your rights related to the processing of personal data and making automated decisions


You have the following rights related to the processing of personal data:

  • the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of data – at any time you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of such personal data that we process based on your consent,
    -the right to access your personal data and receive a copy of it,
  • the right to request the rectification (correction) of your personal data,
  • the right to request the deletion of your personal data – if in your opinion there is no basis for us to process your data, you can request that we delete it,
  • the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data – you can request that we limit the processing of your personal data only to its storage or performance of actions agreed with you, if in your opinion we have incorrect data about you or we process it without justification; or you do not want us to delete it because you need it to establish, pursue or defend claims; or for the duration of your objection to data processing,
  • the right to object to the processing of your data due to your special situation, which in your opinion justifies discontinuing the processing covered by the objection – in cases where we process your data based on our legitimate interest. We will stop processing your data for this purpose, unless we can demonstrate that the basis for our processing of your data overrides your rights or that your data is necessary for us to establish, pursue or defend claims,
    -the right to transfer your personal data, i.e. the right to receive your personal data from us, in a structured, commonly used computer format that is machine-readable. You can send this data to another data controller or request that we send your data to another controller. However, we will only do this if such transfer is technically possible. You only have the right to transfer personal data with respect to the data that we process on the basis of an agreement with you or on the basis of your consent.

To exercise the above rights, contact us – contact details in point 1 above. To ensure that we are being contacted by a person authorized to submit an application, we may ask for additional information that will allow us to effectively authenticate and identify you.


Right to withdraw consent

To the extent that your data is processed based on consent – you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that was carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent by sending a statement of withdrawal of consent to our correspondence address or to our e-mail address – contact details in point 1 above.

Right to lodge a complaint with the authority

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Information on the requirement/voluntariness of providing data


Providing your data:

  • Is necessary to conclude and perform the contract;
  • Is necessary to respond to the submitted inquiry.
