GANTRY WASHERS
GANTRY WASHERS SPRAY-CAST 3003 SC6000.1.1/VAC
These systems provide efficient degreasing. Furthermore, they offer excellent surface preparation of industrial parts prior to coating or painting.
Gantry washers feature a front-loading design. Specifically, engineers developed this variant for washing large-scale, heavy components weighing up to several dozen tons.
You can utilize this equipment in various production processes. For example, it works perfectly for stainless steel components with multiple through-holes or blind holes. Additionally, it handles heavy railway wagon chassis, mining harvesters, heavy construction, and military equipment.
We use components from brand-name manufacturers in our washers.
STRUCTURE AND EQUIPMENT OF THE WASHER:
The advanced loading and unloading system features a “SKID” loading platform. In addition, it includes electrically driven movable rollers mounted within the track structure, creating a wheelless loading frame.
The spray chamber consists of acid-resistant stainless steel. It features the following elements:
- External washing: Spray manifolds with specialized nozzles.
- Internal washing: Manifolds with outlet connection ports for internal channel cleaning.
- Manual pre-washing: A manual spray gun equipped with a lance and hose for quick touch-ups.
- Component drying: A blow-off gun with a lance for compressed air drying after washing.
- Pre-filtration: A highly efficient gravity-fed pre-filtration system (500 µm).
- Automated access: An automatic opening and closing system for the working chamber.
- Vapor control: A dedicated connection port for active vapor extraction.
The heavy-duty spray wash tank includes the following technical equipment:
- Bath heating: An electric heating system complete with precise bath temperature sensors.
- Insulation: Full thermal insulation for the entire washing bath tank.
- Level management: Electronic level sensors paired with an automatic bath replenishment system.
- Piping network: All necessary connection ports and piping made of durable stainless steel.
- Fluid circulation: A powerful spray pump with all required fittings.
- Maintenance: An integrated bath cleanliness maintenance system.
The accompanying spray rinse tank features the following components:
- Rinse heating: An electric spray rinse bath heating system.
- Agitation system: Continuous bath agitation and mixing. This process maintains a uniform temperature distribution.
- Dosing unit: An automatic dosing system for wash concentrate and water. Crucially, it features reliable overflow protection.
- Diagnostics: A built-in self-diagnostic and service program.
- Pneumatic control: Standardized valves with pneumatic actuators. A safe 24V voltage controls the system.
- Automation: A SIEMENS Simatic controller built into the electrical cabinet. It connects to an operator panel for custom programming.
The advanced controller monitors level and temperature. It provides clear status signaling for washing and rinsing liquids. Moreover, it includes an emergency shut-off system and an operating hours counter. Finally, a weekly timer controls both the heaters and the oil separator.
